Hello, this clear stamp set Hello Lovely by Concord & 9th has to be my favourite! I love colouring in the flowers and leaves. All the supplies I used are listed at the end of this post, and linked to the shop.
To make this card I trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth panel to 11x14cm, using my craft mat I ink blended Candied Apple Distress Ink. I added more colour at the bottom and used less pressure to get a lighter shade towards the middle of the card.
My favourite thing about Distress Ink is that they are re-active with water. I spritzed some water droplets with my Distress Sprayer (let the water sit for about 10 seconds then blotted dry with a paper towel).
I stamped the word ‘lovely’ using the Hello Lovely stamp set by Concord & 9th near the bottom of the card and ‘Happy Birthday’ with Archival Black Ink. Then added this panel to the card base.
I stamped the floral image from the Hello Lovely stamp set onto water colour card with Archival Jet Black ink.
To colour in this image I used the Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers, a paint brush and some clean water. I added the colour from the marker where I wanted the darker shade and used my paint brush to pull the colour out. I used Wine Red and Orange colours for the flowers and May Green and Light Green shades for the leaves.
I partially cut a straight line from the edge of this piece and fussy cut around the leaves and orange flower with scissors. I added foam tape all over the back of this piece and behind the leaves and adhered this to the top of the card and cut off any overhang. Currently I am loving watercolouring this floral stamp!
