Loose Colouring with Zig Markers

Hello, I have an easy loose watercoloured floral card to share with you today.  I decided to make a birthday card, but you could use any sentiment you wish.  I thought the sketchy hand drawn images from the Garden Grow stamp set by Altenew would look gorgeous with a loose watercoloured look.  All the products I used are listed and linked to the shop below.  What do you think of this card? Stamping

I stamped three of the potted plants with Archival Jet Black ink onto watercolour card, and scibbled on some colour with a Zig Clean Colour Real Brush marker, and blended out the colour with a waterbrush.   The watercolouring is loose so I tried not to control the water too much – I wanted this loose look.

Sentiment & Finishing The Card

When this panel was dry, I added some darker colour to the flower and leaves.  When it was completely dry, I trimmed it to a small panel 4.75×2.5″.  I die cut the words Happy Birthday from an Avery Elle Tag For All die from white card three times, and layered these together.  For the background I trimmed some adhesive backed fabric from my stash to leave a small border on my card base.  I adhered this fabric to the card base, added my watercoloured panel with foam tape and used strong liquid glue to adhere the sentiment.

What colour would you have made the flowers?
