Hi it’s Alison and it’s my turn today to show how I made this shaker card using the Cabana Tiles die from the Catherine Pooler Stamp of Approval Box.
Process
First I cut a piece of American Craft green card to 5 inches square. I then used the Cabana Tiles die to cut out what would become the apertures.Repeating this on pieces of Bristol Smooth white card and a piece of blue American Crafts card.
Then backing the green card with a piece of acetate and then using hexagon from the blue card I stuck these as frames in the apertures of the green piece. Using tombow mono liquid glue to do this, then stuck four of the white hexagons in the spaces on the green card.
Diecut & Sentiment
From white Bristol Smooth card diecut a rectangular stitched die and stamping the sentiment and flowers from the Tropically Yours stamp set from the Stamp of Approval box. I adhered this to a blue card to 5.75 inches square and stick it to a 6 inch square card blank. Lastly, adding a pile of green sequins in the centre of this.
After adhering 3M double sided foam tape around the edges of the green piece, I then mounted this over the pile of sequins and into the blue card.
