Cabana Time Shaker Card by Alison

Hi it’s Alison and it’s my turn today to show how I made this shaker card using the Cabana Tiles die from the Catherine Pooler Stamp of Approval Box.

First I cut a piece of American Craft green card to 5 inches square. I then used the Cabana Tiles die to cut out what would become the apertures.

I repeated this on pieces of Bristol Smooth white card and a piece of blue American Crafts card.

I then backed the green card with a piece of acetate and then using hexagon from the blue card I stuck these as frames in the apertures of the green piece. I used tombow mono liquid glue to do this. I then stuck four of the white hexagons in the spaces on the green card.

I die cut a piece of white Bristol Smooth card using a rectangular stitched die and stamped the sentiment and flowers from the Tropically Yours stamp set from the Stamp of Approval box.

I then cut a piece of the American Crafts blue to 5.75 inches square and stick it to a 6 inch square card blank.

I then placed a pile of green sequins in the centre of this.

After sticking 3M double sided foam tape around the edges of the green piece I then stuck this over the pile of sequins and into the blue card.

I then used tombow mono glue to stick the sentiment in place.
