Peace On Earth Rainbow Card by Janet

Hello, Janet back with a rainbow card for Christmas.  I love rainbows and I love the bright vibrant colours of the Catherine Pooler inks.  I have listed all the products I used to make this card – which are minimal at the bottom of this post.

This is my inspiration for the WCMD Christmas Challenge. To find the details of the challenge and how to enter your card please visit THIS BLOG POST.

Stamping

Taking a piece of Catherine Pooler Designs Premium card, that we pre-cut into 4.25″ x 5.5″ and store in Avery Elle Storage Pockets.  I used the Stamp Platform and stamped the PEACE, moved my card an inch (to leave space for the sub-sentiment) and stamped PEACE in the next colour.  Then stamped ON EARTH underneath in the correct colours.  You could also use acrylic blocks if you find that easier.  I started in the centre with Melon Ice, Then Bellini, Rockin Red, Spruce and Its A Boy.

Diecutting

It looked a little plain so I diecut the largest Postage Stamp frame die by Avery Elle from Silver Metallic card and adhered this over my stamped panel.  Adhering this to a card base and my card is done.  You could also stamp directly onto a Catherine Pooler Pre-Scored card base as there is no weight added with the diecut frame.

I look forward to seeing your cards for the challenge, and hope you will join us over the the Facebook Treehouse Tribe group.
