Hi, Jeni with another Christmas Card. These are my favourite theme of cards to make – I could happily make Christmas cards for 6 months of the year. (Broken up with floral and critter cards for the other 6 months. I have used both this years release and last years release by Concord and 9th. All the products I used are listed and linked to the shop below.
Turnabout Stamping
Since I still had the Snowflake Turnabout stamp already in my stamp platform from when I made this Birthday card I stamped a bunch more backgrounds. For this soft green and teal card I used Mint To Be (for the first and last turn), All That Jazz and Aqautini.
My least used Catherine Pooler ink colour is Mint To Be, so I made sure to use it on this card. I diecut the Ribbon Banner die twice, and stamped the sentiment “Merry Christmas Wishes” from the Christmas Cheer turnabout stamp set. I snipped one of the banner pieces smaller so it would be hidden behind and adhered them together to make one longer ribbon banner.
Sentiment Banner
I adhere the sentiment banner with foam tape to the center of my background but I felt it needed a bit more colour, so I took the Aqautini ink pad direct to paper so the colours would match. Then trimmed this into two strips and adhered one to each end of the card base and then adhered the center panel to the card base.
Finishing The Card
For the finishing touch I added some Morning Dew Crystal Drop to the center of each snowflake. The Morning Dew drops are clear so have picked up the colour of the ink below.
