Congrats Baby Card by Katrina

Hello, today I am sharing a baby card using the Heffy Doodle Eggcellent news stamp set.

When I saw the set I knew I wanted to make a scene card but I wanted to do something a little different to one big scene.

To make this card work I needed a longer, taller card so I trimmed my card base to measure 7″ by 4″ when folded.

I masked off three rectangle boxes on to a piece of Neenah cardstock.

I then arranged the stamps in each box to make three small scenes.

Once I was happy with the arrangements I stamped the images, making sure the images I wanted in the foreground were stamped first. Each time I stamped an image I masked it. Once my images were all masked I used Distress Oxide inks to blend a background. I repeated this to create three different scenes. I then removed the masks and coloured the images with my Copic markers.

Finishing The Card

Next I used a stitched rectangle die to cut each scene out. I arranged them on the card base, making sure I had a good amount of space to stamp the sentiment at the bottom.

I then used a tape runner to adhere the scenes to the card base to complete the card.
