Hello, I love this Three Heart Die which gives dotted detail on the outside of the hearts, and have to use it for this CAS card with the Stuck on You stamp and co-ordinating die as elements to pop up through the hearts on a Distress Oxide background.
We’d love to see what you are making with your stamps and inks. Share your creations with us at The Little Paper Treehouse Tribe over at Facebook.
Firstly, for the background I will smoosh the three distress oxides listed below on my mat, and spray the ink with water to get the colour moving. I will push the card panel into the distress oxide ink to pick up the colour.
Diecut Avery Elle Three Heart die with one of the hearts was hanging over the edge. The hearts in this die are connected as one die, and by changing the angle you diecut it – you are able to create lots of different looks.
I will stamp both the cacti from this stamp set with archival black ink and colour with Zig markers.
Finishing The Card
Adhere the background panel onto a card base with double sided tape, and place the cut out hearts directly to the base in the gaps. Stamp the sentiment in the top heart, with both Cacti popping out of the bottom two hearts. To finish, use tape adhesive on the pots of the cacti with foam tape at the top to give this card some dimension and add some Sparkling Star confetti pieces.
What do you think? This stamp set can be used as a valentines card or even for birthdays of loved ones.
