Sleepy Foxes Video Card Tutorial by Janet

I think the sleepy foxes in the Woodland Fox stamp set by Sunshine and Bee Designs will put a smile on anyones face, especially if you are not feeling very well and makes a great Get Well Soon card.

This sleepy foxes card was made using a watercolour card panel measuring 11 x 14cm. This background is from my “box of backgrounds” I used water based inks to blend all over this panel, (an orange at the top half of the card and red on the rest of the card).

Whilst the card was drying, I stamped two sleepy foxes with Over Coffee on Neenah 80 lb card, one below the other. I have a corresponding video tutorial for this card over on YouTube. You can watch it HERE.

They are very easy to colour in, so I used Copics to give them some colour. E13 for the bodies and E35 for the face and inside the ears.To ground the foxes I coloured a little light grey underneath both of them.  This panel was then cut to 7.5cm square.

I stamped the sentiment “Get Well Soon” in Midnight ink. Size of the sentiment piece is 6.5 x 2cm.

I adhered the panel with the foxes near the top of the card approx 1.5cm from the top, with the sentiment underneath. Then I adhered this to a pre folded card base.
