Hello lovely crafters! Hope everyone is well. Well, I’m back to share another make with you all. Hope you like it.

Die Cutting

First of all, I die cut 2 rectangles out of black and white card. Jeni has some fabulous Lawn Fawn rectangle dies in the shop. I then stamped the flamingo with a versafine black ink pad using the fabulous Catherine Pooler Stand Tall Stamps. Next, I added the grass and water using distress inks and a spritz of water on to the stamp to create a slight watercolour look.

Adding Colour

I then coloured the flamingo using oil pencils. My top tip is to do all the stamping and everything else you need to do before you colour. This way if anything goes wrong you haven’t wasted all that time colouring for nothing.

Bringing It All Together

To finish I mounted a sheet of paper from my stash onto a 7×7 card blank.

I used my Stix2 tape runner, this is my go-to adhesive. Then stuck the die cut rectangles down, stamped a sentiment from the Concord & 9th Just Because stamp set which I stuck down with foam pads to add dimension.

Finally

I added Bourbon Street sequins from Catherine Pooler to finish it off. These are my absolute favourite!

Really enjoyed making this card and doing a bit of colouring. Have a great day.
