Welcome Tracy as the Guest Blogger for August.
I’m Tracy and I live in Suffolk with my husband of 20 years and my Newfoundland dog, Fergus. I work part-time from home as a freelance medical typist, which helps to pay for my papercraft addiction! I’m so excited to be a guest designer for The Little Paper Tree. It’s lovely to be supporting a UK company, especially one so close to where I live. My first crafty love was cross-stitch. When I started turning my stitching into cards, I found a passion for cardmaking and papercraft and my love (and stash!) grew from there. I would describe my style as eclectic and my projects can be inspired by anything particularly the seasons, colours or a quote. I love to colour using different mediums but my favourite technique is to watercolour with Kuretake Clean Colour pens. One of the things I love most about crafting is sharing, not just my projects but tips and techniques, and gaining inspiration and knowledge from other crafters. When I’m not creating, I can usually be found reading fiction or writing it, indulging in my obsession for Scotland or walking my fur baby.
