A Trio Of Urban Oasis Colour Combinations | Make-a-Card with Tasha

posted in: Blog, Tasha 0

Hey crafty people, it’s Tasha here, and today I’m sharing a trio of Urban Oasis colour combinations using the newest set of mini ink pads from Catherine Pooler.
The gorgeous Boho Feathers stamp set inspired me so much that as soon as my parcel arrived, I grabbed some a2 panels of Neenah 80lb & my MISTI and got to stamping!!!

A Trio Of Urban Oasis Colour Combinations

I split the inks into three combinations, and I did the exact same technique for each card.

Colour combinations…

  • Pink Champagne, Rouge & Orange Peel

  • Hot Tub, A Queen For A Day & Sangria

How To Achieve The Look?…

I started by adding some of the first ink to the bottom of the feather; and then used a piece of kitchen roll to blot away the harsh edge of the ink.

I stamped this, and then added the next colour to the centre of the feather. This time making sure to blot away the harsh edges from both sides of the ink.

Finishing with the same process for the third colour.

I chose a sentiment and two of the little accent images, and I stamped each of these in a colour from that combo.

So simple, and so beautiful!!!

Don’t forget to check out the fun Reel I’ve got over on IG showing how I made them!

As always I am so grateful for you spending this time with me!

I’ll be back next week for more inspiration!
