Bright Mod Stripe Floral card and video by Jeni

Hi. It seems I can’t keep away from floral stamp sets at the moment. There are so many ways to use the Beautiful Day Floral stamp set by Catherine Pooler Designs. I teamed this stamp set with the Mod Strips cover plate die and three Date Night inks for a bright Spring is almost here card.  Watch the video tutorial below here on the blog or over at YouTube, and read on for the written tutorial.

Written Tutorial

First, stamp onto Bristol vellum card with Midnight black ink and use Catherine Pooler ink colours and a Zig blender pen for the colouring.

I use the Date Night ink colours Pucker Up, Catching Rays and In The Park with Be Mine, Tiki Torch and Grass Skirt from other Party collections.

The background is the Mod Strips cover plate die coloured with the direct to paper method. By using the same ink pads, the coloured card perfectly matches the floral colouring. I left three stripes the white card to leave some white space.

All the stripes, apart from the sentiment strip adhere flat to a card panel. The flower and one leaf are foam mounted. The other four extra leaves are glued flat to the card.

I finish with three Boiled Sugar embellishments by Trinity Stamps and mount to an A2 sized card base. Stay safe, and enjoy your crafting time.
