Hey crafty people, and welcome to another dose of inspiration for your Saturday morning. Today I am creating a card just like magic using some magical products from Trinity Stamps.
I grabbed the Magical Wizards stamp set, matching die and also Magic Sentiments stamp set, all from Trinity Stamps and stamped lots of the images out onto a sheet of Neenah 80lb, which is my preferred paper for colouring with alcohol markers.
Colouring the images…
Skin Tones: E000, E00 | E000, E00, E21 | E21, E57, E59
Hair Colours: E15, R05, YR16 | E21, E11, E15 | E25, E59, E79
Uniforms: C1, C3, C5, C7 | B34, B37
Hedwig & Quill: W0, W1, W3, W5
Envelope & Scroll: E50, E21
Red Accents: R05, R17, R27, R89
Potion Bottle: BG23, BG49, BG75
Yellow Accents: Y17, YR10
Brown Accents: E08, E09, E18,E19
Create a background, just like magic…
After I had coloured all of the images, I cut them out with the coordinating dies; whenever I purchase the dies to go with my stamp sets it feels like a real treat to myself! haha!
I set aside all of the die cut images and got to work on the background, adding a piece of tape across the bottom third of the landscape panel to serve as a mask.
Royal Treatment from Catherine Pooler, is the perfect beautiful deep purple and I blended it onto the panel with a Blending Buddy from Trinity Stamps.
I cut the panel with a die I had in my stash.
Assembling, just like magic…
I like to plan out where all of my images will go before I commit to gluing them in place.
Once I was happy with the placement, I glued them down using both liquid glue and some adhesive foam squares.
I popped the panel into my MISTI (other stamp positioning tools are available) and chose my sentiment from Magical Sentiments. This set is one of those with a load of different words and phrases, that can be stamped together to create an almost endless supply of sentiments!
It’s going to be well used in my crafting, I know that for sure!
I stamped the sentiment with Midnight from Catherine Pooler.
Those magical additions…
I added some gorgeous stars that I got from Trinity Stamps when I won their Facebook Group contest in December, and these work perfectly for this design!
Inside, I stamped some of the footprints from the stamp set, also in Midnight ink to create a magical trail and added a die cut Marauder’s Map.
Such fun!

I will be back at the same time next week for more inspiration!
