Blog-Catherine-Pooler-Ink-Heat-Emboss-1Hi, I love finding ways to stretch my stash and get more use from my stamp sets hence in today’s tutorial, I use a non Christmas floral stamp set by Trinity Stamps to make a Christmas card. I team Catherine Pooler inks with sparkly embossing powder for coloured heat embossing. Watch the Video tutorial below, then head to the shop for these products.

  • Stamp the floral stamp in Cranberry Fizz ink and heat emboss with Fairy Dust embossing powder.
  • Colour with Cranberry Fizz ink and blender pen.
  • Fussy cut up to embossed lines.
  • Foam mount flowers on front (right side) of card.
  • Adhere flowers flush on back of card.
  • On vellum, stamp the sentiment from Wrapped and Ready stamp set with Cranberry Fizz ink.
  • Cover the wet ink with Fairy Dust embossing powder and heat set.
  • Adhere one end under flower, and fold the other side to adhere to the inside of the card.
I love that this card design can be recreated in so many different colours for different occasions.  What colours would you use? I have more examples using different colour combinations which I will share on Instagram.
