From my nest to Yours card by Janet

This is a beautiful stamp set by Sunshine and Bee Designs.  Jeni knows I absolutely love robins so she made this stamp set with me in mind. You can see the process video of this card HERE. I used two of the robins and made up the sentiment using the various words in this stamp set. Using Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides I put some ink onto my mat, sprayed a little water over it and smooshed the watercolour panel into it … Read More

Galaxy Background Birthday Card by Sarah

|

Have you tried inking up a galaxy background? I hadn’t given it a go yet – til now! Cover a panel of card in patches of ink in a range of colours – yellow, purple, pink and aqua. Any kind goes, I used mostly Distress Oxides, one Catherine Pooler dye ink and a generic pink pigment ink. Smoosh and blend til you’ve got no white space left. Let them mix as much or as little as you like. Only parts … Read More

Rainbow Birthday Wishes Card by Sarah

A bit of ink smooshing from me today.   Tap your red ink pad directly onto your acrylic stamping block, roughly filling in the first inch in from the end. Spritz the inked block with a little water and press it down onto your card front with the edge of the block at the edge of the card – let the ink smoosh rightwards across the card front, sometimes it’ll bloom out further, sometimes it’ll stay about an inch wide … Read More

Hello, Janet here with some cute chicks from the Peek A Boo Pets stamp set by Avery Elle.  I love the peek a boo stamps! I decided to team up this stamp set with some new elle-ments dies to make a set of three cards, and I only need to ink blend one background piece!  All the products are listed in the supply list below and clicking on any green word will take you to that product in the shop. … Read More

Peek A Boo Pets Pull Tab Card by Sarah

|

The cute creatures in this stamp set were just made for popping their heads through windows or over walls. As soon as I saw them, I wanted to use them on a vertical pull tab card and thought it’d be a great opportunity to show that, although there are fancy dies that can make this kind of interactive card easier, you can do it yourself without special equipment and using any stamps you like.   Stamp out the animal of … Read More

Congrats Baby Card by Katrina

|

Hello, today I am sharing a baby card using the Heffy Doodle Eggcellent news stamp set. When I saw the set I knew I wanted to make a scene card but I wanted to do something a little different to one big scene. To make this card work I needed a longer, taller card so I trimmed my card base to measure 7″ by 4″ when folded. I masked off three rectangle boxes on to a piece of Neenah cardstock. … Read More

Hi, it’s Jeni with two cards using the new Marbled Turnabout stamp set by Concord and 9th. I always seem to do either two or five cards using the same stamp set at a time. Share your turnabout cards with us at The Little Paper Treehouse Tribe.  I … Read More

Magical Unicorn Birthday Cards by Jeni

|

Hi, its Jeni here with my first post of 2019. How is your year going so far? I decided to make two special brithday cards using some Avery Elle stamps and dies.  My original idea was to make a super intricate spinner card but I couldn’t get it to work correctly so that idea has gone into my ‘to be finished’ box.  These two cards also led to another idea that will be on YouTube shortly.  All the products I … Read More

You Are Loved Card by Katrina

Hello. Today I am sharing a card using the  Heaven Sent stamp set by Honey Bee Stanps. I started by making a card base from white card. I inked the background for the card straight on to the card base. I took a stencil with various sized circles by MFT stamps called basic circles. If you dont have one of these you can make your own using circle dies and a sheet of Acetate to make your own. Just die … Read More

Distress Oxide Valentine Card by Janet

|

Hello, Janet here with a card that could be used as a non traditional Valentines card. I love this Three Heart Die which gives dotted detail on the outside of the hearts, and just had to use it for this CAS card.  I also used the Stuck on You stamp and co-ordinating die as elements which pop up through the hearts with a Distress Oxide background. All the products I used are listed and linked below. We’d love to see what … Read More
