Take a Break Slimline Card by Lisa

|

Hello, Lisa here and I’m thrilled to be sharing my second guest designer post for The Little Paper Tree. Slimline cards seem to be very popular at the moment and I thought it would be the perfect layout for the super cute trio of mermaids from the Penguin Palace Take a Break stamp set.   Making the Background   When I create with anything sea-themed – like mermaids, I love making inky backgrounds that give the illusion of a swirly … Read More

I can use them with coloured ink pads to … Read More

One of my new year’s resolutions is to give myself more time to play with card designs so I can try out tricky, messy things without feeling pressed for time. Bring on the mixed media! Stamping & Embossing Stamp and heat emboss the largest mandala. There’s something magic about watching embossing powder transform to shiny as it reaches just the right temperature.
