Thank You Poinsettia Card by Jeni

|

Hi, I have one more card using the new Sunshine and Bee Designs release.  I love how easy the Winter Poinsettia stamp is to colour and cut out.  I heat embossed the poinsettia with white embossing and used some Distress Inks to watercolour.  I used Aged Mahogany for all the leaves/petals and Wild Honey for the centers. The background is Iced Spruce Distress Ink and Evergreen Bough Distress Ink. I inked up different areas of the Love Notes background stamp … Read More

Winter Poinsettia Christmas Card Video by Jeni

Hi, the last stamp in this release by Sunshine and Bee Designs is Winter Poinsettia.  Winter Poinsettia is a group of three poinsettia’s (with the correct number of leaves – I don’t think the gardeners in my family would forgive me if they didn’t).  I have a short video for the making of this card HERE. This was a quick card to make. I started by stamping the poinsettia in the top half of the card, then rotated it to … Read More

Stamp and heat emboss the largest mandala. There’s something magic about watching embossing powder transform to shiny as it reaches just the right temperature. Make sure to heat from below as well as above to minimise warping. Repeat with the next size down mandala, using … Read More

Hi it’s Alison again. Today I have chosen to show a technique with stamps and watercolour markers that might be new to some of you.
